12/21 6:30 a.m. A Flood Watch continues for central Douglas County through Sunday night. Forecasters at the National Weather Service say that heavy rain will cause rapid rises on area streams, creeks and rivers.
12/20 9:30 a.m. A flood watch remains in effect for Central Douglas County and other areas in Southwest Oregon, as a Pacific storm system is expected to bring heavy rainfall in the region. 
12/19 11:15 a.m. The Myrtle Creek Police Department has arrested seven people over the past two weeks for having stolen checks forged on a victim’s account. 
12/19 10:50 a.m. A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says a woman was hurt when she tried to avoid hitting a deer on Old Highway 99 South in the Myrtle Creek area. 
12/19 10:30 a.m.  A Roseburg man was hurt when a vehicle running a red light hit his car on Thursday morning at about 10:00 a.m.

12/20 8:30 a.m. The second half was a dangerous place for the Sutherlin Bulldogs on Friday. The boys' basketball team blew a 20-point lead in the 2nd half and missed a chance to play in the finals of the North Marion Invitational Tournament, while the Lady Bulldogs narrowly escaped a disastrous collapse after leading by 18 at halftime.
