7/26 11:45 p.m. The Doc Stewarts scored twice in the bottom of the eighth inning to take an 8-6 lead against Three Rivers and once again avoided elimination from post-season play in the Zone 4 Super Regional on Saturday.
7/26 3:30 p.m. It wasn’t pretty, but winning an elimination game doesn’t have to look good. The Doc’s committed seven errors against the Taylor-Putnam Kingsmen Saturday morning, but took advantage of their opponents miscues late in the game to win 6-5 in extra innings and keep their season alive.
7/25 11:00 p.m. The Three Rivers Sand Blasters were hitless through six innings of play against the Doc Stewarts Friday night, but they collected nine hits over the final three innings to steal away an 8-5 win over the Doc’s.
7/25 6:45 a.m. The Doc Stewarts will start play in the post season Friday, as the host team in the Zone 4 Super Regional tournament.
