9/7 2:20 P.M.:  A cooking fire destroyed a unit of a duplex north of Roseburg Monday night. Fire District two says the initial call came in shortly after 5 p.m.

WOMAN ARRESTED FOR THEFT AT WAL-MART


9/7 12:30 P.M.: Roseburg Police arrested a 23-year-old Canyonville woman Sunday night after authorities say she was caught on a store security camera reaching into a pickup truck bed in the parking lot of Wal-Mart and taking a bag containing three cordless drills valued at $600.

9/7 6:45 A.M.: The investigation continues into the death of a 26-year-old Eugene man who was found deceased early Monday morning. 

FATAL ACCIDENT ON I-5


9/6, 2010 7:37 A.M. Oregon State Police are on the scene of a fatal traffic crash along Interstate Five, about two miles north of the Yoncalla Interchange near milepost 156. At last check, traffic was restricted to one lane of travel. Police are investigating a possible hit and run involving a deceased pedestrian. The accident was reported just after 4am.
