New ideas for 2011
altText
Every now and then I come up an idea that I think might work. Generally I keep them to myself…this one is so good, I must share…
While driving to work this week, I was listening to an interview on the radio with Kyle, our news director and Prozanski… Prozanski was addressing the issue of budget crises… and his solution was typical … of course he wants to cut "public safety", "human services", "education".
Blah blah blah… come up with something new, sure 3.3 billion dollars is not easy to cut…but why is it elected officials always go after the categories that will hurt us the most… well they are just not putting enough thought into it…
Let's get a little creative; you have been elected to do a job, not just spit out the same elementary answer ever time.
Here it is… let's bring back beheading.
I will elaborate...
Family entertainment, for free… (Currently it cost 50 to 75 dollars to see a movie)
Eliminate the cost of providing for a prisoner
The average cost per year is $30,929… so it would take about 96,000 prisoners (I guess it won't work)
The headsmen were quite skilled individuals, that had favor in the community… and I think we are more skilled in axe making, so the problem of taking several whacks will practically be nonexistent…
Add rape and abuse to the list of those on death row and we will be off to a handsome start.
Of course I am not serious, but I am challenging the state of Oregon to dig a little deeper…get creative… and start acting as though they are in the business of staying in business…
Or maybe the guillotine…put the cabinet contractors back to work….
