1/31 10:10 P.M.: Head coach Craig Stinnett finally got the full team effort that he’s long been looking for from his Roseburg Indians. The Indians held the lead against the visiting Crater Comets most of the game and pulled away in the second half to win 62-49.
1/18 12:30 A.M.: South Umpqua held the lead against Brookings-Harbor for more than three quarters, but the Lancers had to force overtime to pick up their 8th straight win. Lancer freshman Erik Johnson hit a half-court 3-pointer at the 3rd quarter buzzer.
1/17 8:53 P.M.: Carson Reid hit three threes in the first 8:10 and Alex New and Boog Leech also hit from outside in the first half to key a fast start for Roseburg, who scored 19 points in the first quarter, led 30-14 at halftime, and won 59-39 over Grants Pass.
1/16 5:00 P.M.: Most area wrestling teams participated in tournaments over the weekend. The Indians threw on their singlets for the Oregon Classic in Redmond and dominated the competition.
